Here are a few more pictures I took during the tree assignment. These were taken at Cheekwood, in Warren, PA and at Centennial Park.

I am way behind, but better late than never. Assignment #7 was "your interpretation of a tree." So here it is:
This assignment was due last Monday, but I suppose I am better late than never. The idea for this assignment was to shoot part of a whole (such as the stamen of a flower) and post our top 5. Here are my top 5 pics from this shoot:
Our assignment this week was to photograph insects, bugs or other creepy crawly creatures and to post our top #5. I was mildly disturbed that all five of my found insects were in our yard - gross. Here they are:
My Uncle saw our last assignment on reflections and sent me a photo he had taken of a reflection. I really liked it and thought I would share:

This weeks assignment was extended to two weeks with the final due date being today, 8/24/09. The assignment was to take pictures of reflections and shadows and post our 5 favorite. The first 5 are my new reflection/shadow pictures. The final two pictures are reflection pictures I took this summer for my photography class.
This weeks task was to choose a color and focus on items of that color. I chose red and here are my best 5 pics.
This weeks assignment was to take pictures of motion, some stopped motion and some blurred motion. I am not entirely happy with my pictures. I intended to ‘knock this out of the ballpark’ when we went to the minor league Nashville Sounds game last Saturday, unfortunately it rained and it was much harder for me to get the shots I needed in the mini bowling alley. I also had my final photos for my real life photography class due today so that took precedence. I am happy with a couple of the shots, but I wish I had done more. Here are my favorite 10:
The first assignment for this weekend was to take 36 pictures of a chair, no editing WYSIWYG (what you see is what you get). Here are mine. I took all my photos in manual mode with a Canon 50D. This is one of the High-Back Windharp Chairs, by Doug Hollis at Cheekwood Botanical Gardens.
